Join us as we dive into stories that build courage, confidence and character
Join our Summer Reading Challenge and
explore empowering books with strong girl leads! Then, tune in every
Tuesday at 2 p.m. on Zoom for live read-alouds with special guest
readers from around the community.
For just $5, you can unlock a
summer of fun. And the best part? This program is open to existing
Girl Scouts and non-members.
How It Works:
- Choose your books -- read from our list, your school's or your own!
- Track your progress with our Summer Reading Challenge Tracker.
- Meet your reading goal by the end of the summer to earn your official program patch!

Ready to receive their new patch?
Once your reader finishes the challenge for their grade level, have a trusted adult send a scanned copy via email to program@bdgsc.org with "Summer Reading Challenge" in the subject line.
Our team will review the tracker, and if everything looks good, we’ll mail the patch to the address you provided when registering.
