You can help a girl experience Girl Scouts.
As a Girl Scout growing up, Girl Scouting provided me with the opportunity to try new things, discover the world we live in and gain confidence as a young girl. Now, as the Black Diamond Council CEO, I have the opportunity to watch as Girl Scouts continues to provide these same experiences to today’s girls, each and every day. Unfortunately, not everyone who wants to experience Girl Scouts is able. With your help, together we can provide the Girl Scout experience to more girls; together we can give them the opportunity to discover, connect and take action in their communities; together we can build girls of courage, confidence and character who will make the world a better place. It takes $400 annually to serve each girl in Girl Scouts of Black Diamond. Your gift to Family Partnership provides girls across our council with the opportunity to become a Go-getter, Innovator, Risk-taker, and Leader. Your support gives each girl member with the opportunity to develop skills that will influence the rest of her life.
Invest in Girls. Change the World. All contributions through the Family Partnership Campaign go towards financial assistance for girls and adults. From building and programming a robot, or learning to paddle a canoe at camp, or completing a service project for their local community, your contribution will help more girls experience the excitement of trying new things, discovering the world we live in, and gaining confidence.
We need donors like you who are willing to help make Girl Scouting possible for young ladies in our council. Once the national membership fee of $25 is paid, Girl Scouts of Black Diamond Council invests over $400 a girl to ensure that she has a great experience. For many girls, this can be life-changing! Your financial assistance gift helps cover membership fees, background checks for volunteers and new Troop Leader Toolkits - all things that ensure our girls have the best Girl Scout Leadership Experience possible.
