When Girls Thrive, Communities Thrive
The new State of the Girl 2026 report paints a powerful picture of what girls are experiencing today—from growing social pressures to remarkable resilience. At Girl Scouts of Black Diamond Council, we see those stories come to life every day and are committed to creating the experiences, relationships and opportunities girls need to grow into confident leaders.
The girls we serve in our 61-county service region are no different from others across the nation. They face the same pressure and struggles, but Girl Scouts is here to help make a difference.
What We're Seeing in Our Communities
The findings in the State of the Girl 2026 report aren't just national trends—they reflect what we see every day across Girl Scouts of Black Diamond Council.
Through hands-on STEM experiences, outdoor adventures, entrepreneurship, community service and leadership opportunities, girls throughout our region are building confidence, discovering their voices and forming friendships that last a lifetime.
Our Annual Report demonstrates the incredible impact that's possible when a community invests in girls, but it also reminds us that the need continues to grow.
Together, we can ensure every girl has access to the experiences, mentors and sense of belonging that help her thrive.
