What: Empowering Girls Luncheon-a celebration of leadership, impact and the power of the community uplifting girls. This luncheon invites individuals who are passionate about female empowerment to recognize the important work women are doing in our communities and beyond.
Jan Rader, named one of Time Magazine's 100 most influential people in the world and the first woman to reach the rank of Chief for a career department in the State of WV, will join us as the keynote speaker for the event. You'll also have the chance to hear from two local Girl Scouts about their experience attending the 70th Annual United Nations' Commission on the Status of Women in New York City.
