Love Camp? Help create those same memories for a new generation of
Girl Scouts by earning you're Counselor-in-Training (CIT) award!
To earn the Counselor-in-Training Award, a girl:
1. Takes a Counselor-in-Training leadership course, designed by her
council, on outdoor experiences.
2. Works with younger girls
over the course of a camp session.
Once you've reached
the Ambassador level, you can also take your mentoring training a step
further with the CIT II Award.
To earn the
Counselor-in-Training II award, a girl:
1. Earns her CIT I
award. (prerequisite)
2. Girls complete CIT II training
course.
3. Works with younger girls over the course of at least
one camp session while focusing on increasing her skills in one
specific area- such as riding instruction, lifeguarding, or the
arts.

* Please plan for your Girl Scout to attend the entire event. We are unable to issue refunds for partial event attendance.
* New flex pay option from Girl Scouts of Black Diamond- Register for events with $0 up front! Make payments on your event as you are able to up until 11:59pm Friday, April 24th, 2026. Once registered for this event, you are responsible for registration fees regardless as to whether you attend unless you cancel you no later than Friday, April 24th 2026 at 11:59pm. All cancelation requests must be emailed to julia.williams@bdgsc.org
