Girl Scouts are invited to explore the stunning formations of Lost
World Caverns on a self-guided hike through this incredible natural
wonder. Wander beneath the earth, discover hidden chambers, and
experience the magic of a cavern that stays a steady 65°F
year-round-no matter the weather outside!
Every Girl
Scout who participates will earn an exclusive Cave Adventure fun patch
to commemorate the day.
What to Know:
Dress
appropriately-while it's warm underground, the hike can be active and
the terrain uneven.
Non-member friends are welcome to
join us to see all that Girl Scouts do above and BELOW ground.

Important to Know Before You Go
- Please plan for your Girl Scout to attend the entire event. We are unable to issue refunds for partial event attendance.
- Does your Girl Scout need additional support or assistance? Please use the "Special Circumstances" box to share with us what we can do to make this day comfortable and enjoyable for your Girl Scout!
- This is NOT a drop off event! Girl Scouts of Black Diamond Staff and Volunteers will be on site but will not be responsible for the safety or oversight of children in attendance. Staff from Lost World Caverns will lead this experience. Attending adult does not have to go spelunking with their Girl Scout, however we do suggest you remain on site.
- New flex pay option from Girl Scouts of Black Diamond- Register for events with $5 up front! Make payments on your event as you are able to up until 11:59pm Friday, January 23, 2026. Once registered for this event, you are responsible for registration fees regardless as to whether you attend unless you cancel you no later than Monday, January 26, 2026 at 11:59pm. All cancelation requests must be emailed to tricia.roblee@bdgsc.org.
