GirlFest 2025 IS HERE! This is a NEW partial week option for troops who are new to camping, have busy summer schedules or just want to get their feet wet (literally) in the high adventure pool! This partial week option is open to Girl Scouts currently in 3rd grade and up based on the Girl Scout Camping Progression Chart.
GirlFest has a two-part registration process! Please read the following information carefully!
You can pay toward the balance due for both Black Diamond Council and ACE balance due as often as you want.
Final payments are due to both Black Diamond Council and ACE no later than Wednesday, April 30th 2025.
The event price will include tent site rental, meals (2 breakfasts, 2 lunches, 2 dinners), 1 half-day guided trip/activity, 2 days of waterpark admittance, Girl Scout program activities and evening functions, as well as miscellaneous event logistical support (e.g. First Aid and bus transportation from tent site up to waterpark area), etc.
Troops/Groups: Part 1 - A $15 non-refundable deposit per person towards the $99 total is required to be paid to Girl Scouts of Black Diamond Council to hold your spot. This is the part of the registration part that you are completing on the Black Diamond Council website when registration opens on February 6, 2025.
Troops/Groups: Part 2 - ACE Adventure will reach out to your Troop/Group on or after February 10, 2025 to arrange up to three trips. Please have your trip selections ready, with an alternate trip chosen should one of your trips be sold out! A minimum of $75/person non-refundable deposit towards the $208 fee (more if you upgrade accommodations) is required by ACE Adventure Resort when they reach out to the troop/group leader to book your guided trips/activities, etc. Do not upgrade your lodging with ACE Adventure Resort until your spot for GirlFest 2025 has been confirmed- those deposits are not refundable! Do not call ACE Adventure to book your trips- their representatives will call you to book in the order you have registered!
Important to Know Before You Go
- Please plan for your Girl Scout to attend the entire event. We are unable to issue refunds for partial event attendance.
- Does your Girl Scout need additional support or assistance? Please use the "Special Circumstances" box to share with us what we can do to make this day comfortable and enjoyable for your Girl Scout!
- Please note- many High Adventure activities offered at ACE require participants to weigh at least 70 pounds in order to participate. Please plan accordingly.

Troops/Groups are required to have the at least the minimum required adult to girl safety ratio specified in GSUSA's Safety Activity Checkpoints:
The adult-to-girl ratio for outings, activities, camping, and travel means a minimum of two registered, approved, adult volunteers who are unrelated, including one female, must be present for up to this number of girls: * 16 Girl Scout Juniors * 20 Girl Scout Cadettes * 24 Girl Scout Seniors * 24 Girl Scout Ambassadors.
With one extra registered, approved, adult volunteer for every additional: * 1-8 Girl Scout Juniors * 1-10 Girl Scout Cadettes * 1-12 Girl Scout Seniors * 1-12 Girl Scout Ambassadors
- Do you need to be paired with another Troop or Group to meet safety ratios for camping? Please let us know in the "Special Circumstances" box!
- All participants, girls and adults, will be required to have a physical exam and swim test before the event (official documentation and directions will be provided).
- New flex pay option from Girl Scouts of Black Diamond- Register for GirlFest2025 for only $25 up front! Make payments on your event as you are able to up until 11:59pm Wednesday, April 30, 2025. Once registered for this event, you are responsible for registration fees regardless as to whether you attend. All cancellation requests must be emailed to cate.phillips@bdgsc.org.
