Are you a Girl Scout ready to step into leadership? This November,
join us at Camp Giscowheco for CIT I & II, the ultimate leadership
training for older girls who dream of becoming camp counselors.
CIT I: Learn the basics of leadership, discover how to work
with younger Girl Scouts, and build your confidence as a role
model.
CIT II: Take your camp leadership skills to the
next level with hands-on practice, more responsibility, and advanced
training that prepares you to guide campers with skill and
heart.
Through games, workshops, and real camp
experiences, you'll gain the tools to lead with confidence-and have
plenty of fun along the way. Camp is calling, and leadership starts
here!
This course will run in conjunction with Camping
Out adult training certification, and Girl Scout Ambassadors will be
able to bridge to Adult Volunteer with Camping Out certification upon
their graduation.
Important to Know Before You Go
- Please plan to attend the entire event. We are unable to issue refunds for partial event attendance.
- Does you need additional support or assistance? Please use the "Special Circumstances" box to share with us what we can do to make this day comfortable and enjoyable for you!
- This is a drop off event! We will have Girl Scout Staff and Volunteers on hand to supervise and assist Girl Scouts. We are unable to accommodate parents, siblings or friends who want to stay.
- New flex pay option from Girl Scouts of Black Diamond- Register for events with $0 up front! Make payments on your event as you are able to up until 11:59pm Friday, November 7, 2025. Once registered for this event, you are responsible for registration fees regardless as to whether you attend unless you cancel you no later than Monday, November 10, 2025 at 11:59pm. All cancelation requests must be emailed to tricia.roblee@bdgsc.org
