Get ready to Rock the Ledges for an action-packed First Aid Badge Weekend at Camp Rocky Ledges! Girl Scouts will spend the weekend building important first aid skills through hands-on activities, interactive scenarios, games, and outdoor adventures designed to help them stay calm, confident, and prepared in an emergency. From learning how to respond to bumps and bruises to practicing basic emergency response skills, girls will discover what it means to be a real-life helper and leader. Local first responders will also visit camp to talk about their careers, share safety tips, and give Girl Scouts the exciting opportunity to explore emergency vehicles up close.
With meals provided all weekend, troops can focus on learning, teamwork, and making memories around the campfire. Between badge activities, Girl Scouts will still have time to enjoy the beauty of camp through hikes, nature exploration, crafts, and classic camp fun with their troop sisters.
This weekend is also a great opportunity for troops who are newer to camping or still building their outdoor experience. Leaders can observe how a well-paced troop camp weekend runs while Girl Scouts gain confidence both outdoors and in their first aid knowledge. Troop volunteers will also have the opportunity to earn their Camping Out Certification through a hands-on camp experience while participating in the weekend. Whether you're earning your badge, trying new skills, or simply enjoying a weekend at camp, this experience is sure to rock your adventure at Rocky Ledges!
Important to Know Before You Go
* Please plan for your Girl Scout to attend the entire event. We are unable to issue refunds for partial event attendance.
* Does your Girl Scout need additional support or assistance? Please use the "Special Circumstances" box to share with us what we can do to make this day comfortable and enjoyable for your Girl Scout!
* This is NOT a drop off event! Girl Scouts of Black Diamond Staff and Volunteers will be on site but will not be responsible for the safety or oversight of children in attendance. Please plan for your Girl Scout to attend with a responsible adult.
* New flex pay option from Girl Scouts of Black Diamond- Register for events with $0 up front! Make payments on your event as you are able to up until 11:59pm Friday, May 29th, 2026.
* Once registered for this event, you are responsible for registration fees regardless as to whether you attend unless you cancel you no later than Friday, May 29th, 2026 at 11:59pm.
