Learn the skills needed to recognize and respond to first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies involving adults, children, and infants. This American Red Cross blended-learning course combines online instruction with an instructor-led, hands-on skills session.
This course and certification is being offered to Girl Scouts Cadettes and older, and adult volunteers.
**IMPORTANT: The online portion of the course MUST be completed BEFORE attending the in-person skills session.** Participants will not be able to complete the certification without completing both portions. Please plan ahead and allow approximately 2-3 hours to complete the online training before your scheduled in-person class. Girl Scouts youth members taking this course will need their own unique e-mail address in order to obtain a certification. Please set this up prior to registration.
After successfully completing the online coursework and demonstrating the required skills during the in-person session, participants will receive an American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED digital certificate, valid for two years.
