a live, interactive Camping- In Training on Zoom designed to help Girl
Scout leaders and volunteers confidently plan and host safe, fun
indoor camping experiences.
This session will walk
participants through the requirements and expectations for Camping-In,
including safety progressions, supervision, planning tips, and how to
ensure your troop is prepared for success. Whether you're new to
camping or just need a refresher, this training will help you feel
confident and supported.
At the end of the presentation,
participants will have the opportunity to ask questions during a live
Q&A with our staff-making this a great chance to get
clarification, share ideas, and learn from others.

home and get ready to start your troop's camping journey!
Camping-In training is required for troops and Service Units
taking trips or spending overnights at facilities that are indoors,
like hotels, lodges, church halls, school buildings, etc. Camping-In
Training is a prerequisite for the in-person overnight Camping Out
training.
You will receive the Zoom link via your
registration email the day before the event. There will be a
post-session survey to complete to verify that you have completed the training.
