Get ready for an unforgettable adventure at Chief Logan State Park designed especially for Girl Scout Trailblazers! This special September 2026 camp experience combines outdoor challenge, leadership development, and environmental discovery in one incredible weekend.
Participants will explore the beautiful trails of Chief Logan State Park while building confidence through hands-on outdoor skills, team challenges, and Trailblazer leadership activities. The highlight of the weekend is an exclusive Elk Conservation Tour, where Girl Scouts will learn about wildlife management, conservation efforts, and the important role elk play in West Virginia's ecosystem - all while observing these magnificent animals in their natural habitat.
Throughout the camp, Trailblazers will practice navigation, teamwork, problem-solving, and stewardship while forming lasting friendships and unforgettable memories. Campfire programs, group activities, and reflection time will help Scouts connect their experiences to Girl Scout leadership values and outdoor progression.
This camp is perfect for Girl Scouts who are ready to push themselves, explore new environments, and take the next step in their Girl Scout journey - developing courage, confidence, and character along the trail.
Important to Know Before You Go
- Please plan for your Girl Scout to attend the entire event. We are unable to issue refunds for partial event attendance.
- Does your Girl Scout need additional support or assistance? Please use the "Special Circumstances" box to share with us what we can do to make this day comfortable and enjoyable for your Girl Scout!
- This is a drop off event! We will have Girl Scout Staff and Volunteers on hand to supervise and assist Girl Scouts. We are unable to accommodate parents, siblings or friends who want to stay.
- New flex pay option from Girl Scouts of Black Diamond- Register for events with $0 up front! Make payments on your event as you are able to up until 11:59pm Friday, September 18, 2026. Once registered for this event, you are responsible for registration fees regardless as to whether you attend unless you cancel you no later than Friday, September 18, 2026 at 11:59pm.
