Want to take your girls camping in the great outdoors? This course gives you the knowledge and skills to camp in a tent, cook meals over an open fire, and practice Leave No Trace camping techniques. Prior to taking this course you must complete the Camping In training. You can find the Camping In self -study online in your GS account. A packing list will be sent prior to the training. Participants can bring their own tent or borrow one from Council. Please contact Joe Whittington at joe.whittington@bdgsc.org 2 weeks in advance, if you need to borrow a tent.
Important Things to Know Before You Go
- Please plan to attend the entire event in order to complete this training. We are unable to issue refunds for partial attendance.
- Does you need additional support or assistance? Please use the "Special Circumstances" box to share with us what we can do to make this day comfortable and enjoyable for you!
- This is an adults only event! Please, no children, spouses, siblings or tagalongs!
