Dedriell Taylor

Director of Girl Leadership Experience

Dedriell Taylor is the Director of Girl Leadership Experience for the Girl Scouts of Black Diamond Council. Dedriell’s primary responsibilities are to oversee all aspects of the council’s program function and to support services to ensure the implementation, delivery, and assessment of a nationally consistent leadership development experience within the council’s jurisdiction. Dedriell believes that the Girl Scout Leadership Experience develops leadership potential and prepares girls to make the world a better place.

She holds a B.A. in Sociology from West Virginia University, M.S. in Management from Marshall University, and is currently pursuing her Ed.D. in Educational Leadership. She is active in her local community serving on the board of directors for Just for Kids Child Advocacy Center and HOPE Restored Community Enrichment Project. In her spare time Dedriell enjoys spending time with her family and friends, travel, music, and reading.

Stacie Bolen

Program Manager - Outreach and Series
Stacie Bolen is the Program Manager for Outreach and Series for Girl Scouts of Black Diamond Council, and is based out of her home office near Beckley, WV. Stacie manages outreach staff and oversees outreach sites to ensure the council is providing girls with as much Girl Scout experience as possible. Stacie also designs Series programming that can then be delivered throughout the council.  Working with the entire program department, she helps to ensure that the quality of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience is attained and delivered successfully to all girls.

Stacie has a health and nutrition certificate and a degree in elementary education. She has over 9 years work experience providing programs for, and working with children. Stacie began working for GSBDC in 2010. Prior to that, she had been a volunteer with Girl Scouts for 8 years. Her positions included Troop Leader, Service Unit Administrator, and Day Camp Director.

In her spare time, Stacie loves to spend time with her family, and especially loves anywhere near palm trees and salt water!

Natalie Huggins

Program Manager - Events, STEM and Virtual
Natalie Huggins is the Program Manager of Events, STEM and Virtual for Black Diamond Council and is based out of Vienna West Virginia.  Natalie’s primary function is to support the Virtual Pathway and STEM programming throughout the entire council including the implementation of council-wide STEM program.  She is also responsible for support of the GS Leadership Experience in the area of Region One. 

She has a BA in Public Administration and a minor in General Science. She has been with the council since 2012, and before that she worked for Suddenlink Communications in the capacity of technical support. 

In her spare time, Natalie volunteers as an assistant Karate instructor.  She loves to write science fiction (she prefers to think of herself as ‘pre-published’) and extreme sports. Natalie’s role model is the individual who figured out corn is delicious when it explodes.

Kathy Storage

Program Manager - Events and Camp
Kathy Storage is the Program Manager assigned to Region 3 for events and also is serving as a camp pathway specialist on a council-wide level. She is based out of the council headquarters in Charleston, WV.   In this dual responsibility position, Kathy is responsible for working with key volunteers to develop a council program delivery and support system that focuses on day camp, weekend camp, and resident camp, as well as, nature education and adventure program opportunities.  Ensuring that outdoor education training opportunities  are available for adults and girls is also part of her camp specialty tasks. Kathy is also responsible for the support of local area events, managing local event pathway volunteers, and for the planning/implementation of council-sponsored events in her assigned region.

Kathy has a B.A. in Social Science (with an emphasis in Social Work and Recreation) from Alderson-Broaddus College, Philippi, WV.  She has also taken some graduate school courses at WVU in Recreation. Kathy has worked for Girl Scouts of Black Diamond Council for a number of years in a variety of positions. She primarily has worked in Program Services most of her career, but also has had positions in membership and adult training capacities, as well.  Prior to joining the council staff, she has served as the Health, Physical Education Director for the Charleston YWCA and as the Director at Kingwood Parks and Recreation in Preston County, WV.  Kathy also has been a member of the WV Recreation and Parks Association, the National Recreation and Park Association and American Camp Association for a number of years.

Kathy’s hobbies include choral group singing, macramĂ©, and counted cross stitch.  She takes every opportunity she can to attend various cultural arts events.  In addition, she personally enjoys a variety of outdoor adventure activities, especially camping, horseback riding, skiing, and many aquatic related activities.

Suzanne Goralczyk

Program Manager - Events, Travel and Program Resources

Suzanne Goralczyk is the Program Manager of Events, Travel and Program Resources for Black Diamond Council and is based out of her home office in Fairmont, West Virginia. Suzanne supports the Travel Pathway and is responsible for support of the GS Leadership Experience in her region, including  the support of local area events, and implementation of council-sponsored events.

She graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in International Relations and has worked for several nonprofits before joining GSBDC, including Boys and Girls Club and Habitat for Humanity.

Cathy Schrader

Program Manager - Events, GSLE and Teen Leadership
Cathy Schrader is the Teen Leadership Program Manager for Girl Scouts of Black Diamond Council and is based in Scott Depot, WV.

Cathy's primary function at the council is to manage teen girl award trainings, coordinate teen events and support the Girl Scout Leadership Experience throughout the council area.  She will be representing Region 4.

She is a Professional Community and Economic Developer with a BS degree in Behavior Science.  Cathy has a number of years experience in community development and has supervised volunteers for numerous community projects, led leadership development trainings, and organized county events.

Cathy worked as a commercial artist in Maryland for 8 years, and in her spare time, still enjoys her passion for the arts.

Mia Ross-Dorsey

Program Department, Administrative Assistant
Mia Ross-Dorsey is the Administrative Assistant for the Operations Team. She provides support to many different departments at the Charleston office such as membership, volunteer services, program, communications services, reception, the shop team as well as the Chief Operating Officer.

Although Mia is new to the Girl Scouts of Black Diamond, she brings with her over 18 years of experience in administrative support and customer service.

Mia stays busy when she isn’t working for the Girl Scouts by hosting trivia for Team Trivia WV and working part-time at Sam’s Uptown CafĂ©. In her spare time she enjoys photography, cooking, bird watching, reading, music/singing, and spending time with her family/friends and her two dogs.
