Application, Screening and Registration

The success of Girl Scouting relies on careful selection and placement of volunteers.  In order to ensure the selection and placement of capable and qualified leadership, Girl Scouts of Black Diamond utilizes an application process. Step 2

GS 101

GS 101 is the first training step for new leaders. The easy-to-use Girl Scouting 101 introduces new volunteers to Girl Scouts’ inspiring national leadership experience, from Journey resources and The Girl’s Guide to Girl Scouting to cookie sales, safety guidelines, and much more. Spend about 45–50 minutes learning online—whenever you can fit it into your day. To access this training,  please visit the GSUSA training site. The password is: aboutGS101. Discovering Black Diamond


 

This training gives you information about the structure of GSBDC, support systems available to you as a Girl Scout volunteer, as well as history, tradition and the Girl Scout Leadership Experience. All Girl Scout volunteers in a leadership position are required to take this training. Note: The video may take several minutes to load. We appreciate your patience
