April 11-12, 2014, Charleston Marriott Town Center, Charleston, WV
Join the Girl Scouts of Black Diamond Council to celebrate the next century of Girl Scouting in Black Diamond Council! The Annual Meeting and Volunteer Recognition Luncheon are just around the corner and we would like to invite you to join us as we celebrate in style at the Girl Scouts and Volunteer Resource Center and the Marriott Charleston Town Center Hotel in Charleston, WV!
The weekend will begin on Friday, April 11th, at the Girl Scouts and Volunteer Resource Center, 321 Virginia Street, West, Charleston. Join us from 7:00-9:00 pm for a reception featuring light refreshments, shopping and socializing! There will be items for bid in a silent auction and don’t miss out on all the fun in the purse and backpack auction. The Council Shop will be open Friday until 7:30 pm and again Saturday morning before the meeting. Teens in attendance will be invited to gather for fun, friendship and idea sharing with the Program Department from 7:00 pm-8:00 pm (finishing so girls can attend the purse auction).
The fun continues Saturday morning at the Marriott Charleston Town Center Hotel as we celebrate the successes of 2013 and help set the future course for Girl Scouting. Be prepared to share ideas and feedback and bring back exciting news to other members of your Local Area! During a special luncheon we look forward to recognizing the outstanding achievements of selected Girl Scout volunteers!
