Learn valuable skills about being a teen mentor and sharing your
skills, passions and experience with younger Girl Scouts! This
leadership development course is for Cadette girls currently in grades
6-8. Afterwards, the candidate will complete a practical experience to
earn their Program Aide pin indicating that that they are trained to
help in troop, program series, event, and day camp settings.
Note: The Cadette girl must earn the Leadership in Action (
LiA) Award prior to signing up for the Program Aide course. The LiA
Awards involve helping a Girl Scout Brownie troop to work on their
Girl Scout Journey awards. Complete requirements for the LiA Awards
are found on the Volunteer Toolkit or in the Girl Scout Brownie

Adults in attendance must be current members and have a
successful background check on file with the council.
