Preservation Science - AM session
What was it like to explore the forests of West Virginia for the first time? Investigate how the early pioneers made a life using the resources around them. Learn the importance of plants, minerals, and natural resources and how these items impacted the lives of early settlers. Learn how they impact Girl Scouts today. Museum and workshop time included.
There will be a morning and afternoon session. Juniors and Cadettes are invited to join the Cultural Center in the morning, while Daisies and Brownies are invited to the afternoon session.
Girl Scouts attending this event will receive the March Mountain Mommas of Appalachia patch.
