Gift of Caring
Girls of Black Diamond Care!
The ever-popular Girls of Black Diamond Care is returning for another year, which means we will once again be conducting a council-wide Gift of Caring program. Through this program, our council has chosen local food banks to the recipient of our customers’ donations. For every customer who gives a gift of $4.00, a box of cookies will be sent to local food banks near the Council.
Girls will receive the Gift of Caring patch by selling 12 or more boxes of cookies for the Girls of Black Diamond Care GOC program. This patch can only be earned by participating in the council GOC program and meeting the 12-box requirement. Any girl can participate using her order card, as the first column on the card is specifically designated for the council GOC program.
Troop cookie chairs will enter the council GOC boxes in the first column in the eBudde system under each girls order page. This will automatically add her GOC patch to the rewards she has earned. Boxes for the council GOC can be added throughout the sale.
This Gift of Caring program is sponsored on a council level. Service units, troops and girls will not be responsible for delivering the cookies ordered for the council-wide gift of caring. There will be a one-time delivery facilitated by the council to a designated organization who will then be shipping cookies to the designated local food banks.
