Girl Scout Cookies

Who doesn't love Girl Scout Cookies?

The Girl Scout Cookie Program dates back to 1917 — almost as far back as Girl Scouting itself. But not only are those cookies super tasty, the Girl Scout Cookie Program is the largest financial literacy program in the U.S. for girls.

With each box of cookies sold, girls are one step closer to reaching the goals they set — from an overnight adventure at camp to a trip to New York City or providing much-needed resources for a community shelter to sending boxes and boxes of cookies to our soldiers overseas. Cookies make things happen for Girl Scouts.

Look for Girl Scouts selling Girl Scout Cookies in your area starting January 3, 2014!

General information:

All cookies sell for $4.00 per box in Black Diamond Council. Money is collected upon delivery (except for Gift of Caring orders, which can be paid for when ordered, since no delivery is involved.)

Troop Proceeds:

Troops earn .65 cents per box from the cookies sold during the Cookie Sale.  These proceeds go toward rewards, trips, and other fun and exciting activities as chosen by the Girl Scouts in the troop.

Program Timeline:

The 2014 Cookie Sale is set to begin on January 3, 2014 with initial orders taking place through January 31, 2014.  Cookies ordered during that time will then be delivered through March 2 – March 19.  Beginning in late February and early March, Cookie Cupboards will open and Troops will have booth sales at various locations throughout the council.

How to buy cookies:

The best way to purchase cookies is through your local Girl Scout troop!
