Program Kits
Program-in-a-Box designs are available for a variety of topics for leaders and service units to use as a resource when working with girls. A boxed program contains an activity booklet as well as some of the supplies you may need to complete the activities in the kit. Additional materials will need to be purchased by the troop. Before checking out a kit, find out what additional supplies are needed. For most kits, a patch is also available for purchase for girls when they complete the requirements. The patches may be purchased through the Council Shop.Program kits are available from five local field centers, Charleston, Wheeling, Bluefield, Weston, and Athens, OH. Every effort will be made to also deliver kits to our other field center locations to allow for kits to be picked up from those offices as well. If you are not near one of these offices, contact the program department to make arrangements for delivery (whenever possible). Program kits may be rented for three weeks, with a maximum of two consecutive rental sessions (six weeks). The rental price and deposit fee varies with each program kit. At this time, payment may only be made by cash or check. If payment is made by check, the rental fee and the deposit fee must be made separately (i.e. two separate checks). If the equipment is returned, without missing or damaged items, the deposit fee will be returned.
