Daisy Girl Scout Song: Spinning Top
Spinning top, never stop!
Keep on whirling, keep on twirling,
Round, round, on the ground,

Daisy Girl Scout SWAP: Litter Bag in a Can
Supplies: film canisters, plastic grocery bags, labels, pins
Instructions: Stuff film canister with plastic grocery bag. Attach pin & label ("Litter Bag in a Can", along with name, troop, etc.).
Daisy Girl Scout Craft: Fancy Feet
Supplies: card stock/construction paper, scissors, markers/crayons/paint, miscellaneous craft supplies
Instructions: Have each girl trace her foot on paper/card stock. Cut out the foot and decorate as a self-portrait.
Yarn may be used for hair, can add wiggly eyes, etc.
Daisy Girl Scout Activity: There Was A Crocodile
Instructions: Do motions in italics while singing.
There was a crocodile (chomping motion with arms),
An orangutan (monkey action),
A foxy snake (slithery snake motion with hand),
And an eagle flying (flap arms),
A rabbit (make rabbit ears),
A beaver (make beaver teeth),
A crazy elephant! (Make elephant trunk with one arm swinging)
Da na na na na, da na na na na! (Swinging dancing action, snapping fingers)
Repeat the song a number of times, taking out an animal each time till all you're left with are the actions!

We thank you Father for our evening meal;
For fun and friends and the happiness we feel.
For blessing and guidance and love we pray;
Be with us tomorrow and each new day.
Brownie Girl Scout Song: See Me Spinning

Brownie Girl Scout SWAP: Paddle Ball
Supplies: paint/markers, pins, glue/stapler, ppompoms, yarn/string/ribbon, small tongue depressors
Instructions: Decorate tongue depressor with pain/markers. Glue pompom to end of yarn. Attach yarn
to top of tongue depressor with staple/glue. Attach pin & label.
Supplies: 10 mm wiggle eyes (2 each), black permanent marker, glue, 1/2" black pompoms (8 each),
red craft sticks - can get plain & paint/color (7 regular, 6 jumbo)
Instructions: Body: glue sides of 6 jumbo sticks together so round edges are even. Outline edges of body with
permanent marker; divide at the center. Head: glue 5 regular craft sticks side-by-side horizontally across the
top of the body. Let dry. Antenna: glue remaining 2 regular craft sticks to back of body so antenna extended
7/8" beyond the top of the head and make a 'V' shape at the back. Outline the edges of the head, draw a
line down the center of each antenna, draw a smile, and dots covering the head. Glue eyes side-by-side to
the top of the head. Glue 1 pompom to the top of each antenna. Glue 6 remaining pompoms to the body.
Brownie Girl Scout Activity: Dutch Shoe Game
Instructions: Girls sit in a circle; everyone needs to have a shoe in front of them. Each girl takes their
shoe in their right hand and passes it to the right rhythm (on each of the bolded, italicized words).
On the firs "do", everyone keeps the shoe they have and taps it on the floor to their right. On "what",
the same shoe is tapped on the floor to their right. On the second "do", everyone passed their shoe to their
right-hand neighbor.
you must pass this shoe and do just what I do.
Repeat a number of times, getting faster and faster!
Brownie Girl Scout Ceremony: Bed is Too Small
Bed is too small for my tiredness,
Bring me a hilltop with trees.
Tuck a cloud up under my chin,
Wind*, blow the moon out, please.
*"Lord" may be substituted for "wind".

Junior Girl Scout Song: Proud to be Good
I am a kid of character,

Supplies: glue, pins, black marker, brown foam, cotton balls (colored or color with markers)
Instructions: Cut small "cup" shape from brown for bottom. Draw vertical lines (lined from cupcake liner) on foam. Fluff & spread cotton balls, gluing together to top of foam. Attach pin & label.
Junior Girl Scout Craft: Craft Stick Bee
Supplies: black permanent marker, 10 mm wiggle eyes (2 each), craft glue, 1/2" black pompoms (2 each), yellow craft sticks - can get plain & paint/color (7 regular, 6 jumbo), 4 jumbo plain craft sticks
Instructions: Body: glue the sides of 6 jumbo yellow craft sticks together so rounded edges are even. Use the marker to outline the edges of the body. Glue 5 regular yellow craft sticks across the body (evenly spaced) with 1 3/4" for the head. Let dry. Antennae: glue 2 remaining yellow craft sticks to the back of the body so antennae extend 1" beyond the top of the head and form a 'V' on the back. Wings: glue sides of 2 plain jumbo craft sticks together & glue to the back of the body at each side & at an angle. Use the marker to outline the edges of the stripes & wings. Dot stripes, draw a line down the center of the antennae, and draw a smile. Glue eyes side-by-side to the top of the head and a pompom to the top of each antennae.
Instructions: Sing & do motions.

Supplies: pins, soda bottle lids, scissors, glue, plastic lacing, craft foam, sand, cotton balls
Instructions: Glue cotton ball to bottom inside of lid. Cover with glue and then sand. Cut shovel shape from foam. Glue to top of sand. Cut handle from lacing & glue to sides of lid. Attach pin & label.
Supplies: ruler, clear vinyl, craft knife/scissors, glue gun, decorative items (paint, glitter, pictures, etc.). Velcro
Instructions: Measure or estimate the dimensions of the part of the locker wehre the organizer will hang. Cut out a strip of clear vinyl to fit within the dimensions from step 1. Cut out another strip as wide as the cutout in step 2., fold it over, and glue the two sides together to make a pocket. Glue the pocket onto the strip. Make and attach as many pockets as desired to the strip of clear vinyl. Decorate the strip and the pockets with paint, glitter, pictures, etc., as desired. Attach a strip of Velcro to the back of the vinyl strip, and attach the other side of the Velcro to the inside of the locker.
Instructions: "Sing" while doing motions: 1st time through: drum hands on thighs. 2nd time: two slaps on your thighs, two slaps on your right-hand neighbor's thighs, two slaps on your own thighs, two slaps on your left-hand neighbor's thighs, repeat. 3rd time: two slaps on your thighs, cross your arms to do two slaps on each of your neighbor's closest thighs, uncross to do two slaps on your thighs, spread your arms to do two slaps on each of your neighbor's closest thighs, repeat.
