JUNIOR CAMPOREE 2008!!
Join us for a bit of tradition and a bit of modern camping Junior Style!  Make S.W.A.P.S., play games, cook your own camp food, try out some new outdoor activities, swim, make crafts and souvenirs and sing songs around a campfire!  Learn Girl Scout camping traditions and even make a few new ones!

Bring a bag lunch for Saturday.  Check in begins at 11 am.  Be sure to bring a sleeping bag, pillow, toiletries and swimsuit.  Please leave the following at home- Radios, flip flops, hair styling equipment and food (other than Saturday's lunch.) 
 
Date- Saturday August 16 at noon - Sunday August 17th at 2pm
Location- Camp Sandy Bend, Elizabeth, WV (Wirt County)
Cost- $20/girl and $10/adult
Registration Deadline- August 1, 2008
Min/Max participants- 30/80

G.E.M.S. Amber
The G.E.M.S. series continues this summer with AMBER!  We will make our own amber fossil, with incredible orange-yellow liquid beauty and find out what it’s like to be an archeologist with a real mini-excavation!  Can you dig it?  Register by choosing your date in our online registration section.

Fun on the Mountain- cancelled due to bad weather, but we will RESCHEDULE!
It's a Girl Scout takeover of SNOWSHOE Mountain!  Have an active, fun time with your own family and your Girl Scout sisters.  Try out the rock climbing wall or the Eurobungy then take a paddle boat out for a spin!  In the evening you can pitch a tent on the beach and enjoy a bonfire and smores!  What a great way to enjoy the summer!  New registration info will be available soon!
