Welcome to Girl Scouts of Black Diamond Council's Program Resources Directory. There are many exciting programs and activities available for girls. Program activities provide the opportunities for girls to develop skills, make new friends and explore the world around them.
Girl Scouts of Black Diamond Council provides many program resources to girls, parents, and troop leaders, including the following:
2007-08 Program Packet - In August of each year, Girl Scout leaders receive a packet full of information to help them with Girl Scouting throughout the year. Click here to access this year's packet electronically.
Council's Own Awards- Girl Scouts of Black Diamond Council has created special Try-Its, Badges, and Interest Project Awards for girls. The awards are considered official and can be worn on the front of a uniform sash or vest. The topics of the Council’s Own have been designed to meet the needs and interest of girls.

Program Kits - The Program-in-a-Box designs are available for a variety of topics to use as a resource when working with girls. A boxed program contains an activity booklet as well as some of the supplies you may need to complete the activities in the kit. Often, a patch is available for purchase for the girls to recognize their efforts in learning about the kit topic.
Patch Programs - GSBDC has created a variety of activity guides for girls, many with participation patches available for purchase for girls to recognize their efforts in learning about the topic. The activity guides can be done in a troop setting or completed individually by the girl, working with her family.
Council Service Project - Join Girl Scouts of Black Diamond Council 2006-2007 Service Project (Good Turn for Goodwill) in keeping kindness contagious by collecting clothing and household itmes to donate to Goodwill Industries. Click here for more information.
