Program activities provide the opportunities for girls to develop skills, make new friends and explore the world around them. 2008-09 Program Packet
In August of each year, Girl Scout leaders receive a packet full of information to help them with Girl Scouting throughout the year. View to this year's packet.
Council's Own Awards
Girl Scouts of Black Diamond Council has created special Try-Its, Badges, and Interest Project Awards for girls. The awards are considered official and can be worn on the front of a uniform sash or vest. The topics of the Council’s Own have been designed to meet the needs and interest of girls.

Program Kits
The Program-in-a-Box designs are available for a variety of topics to use as a resource when working with girls. A boxed program contains an activity booklet as well as some of the supplies you may need to complete the activities in the kit. Often, a patch is available for purchase for the girls to recognize their efforts in learning about the kit topic.
Patch Programs
GSBDC has created a variety of activity guides for girls, many with participation patches available for purchase for girls to recognize their efforts in learning about the topic. The activity guides can be done in a troop setting or completed individually by the girl, working with her family. View details...
Girl Advisory Board Members Wanted
Girl Scouts of Black Diamond Council is currently seeking girls ages 11-17 that want to be leaders within the Girl Scout organization. Ideal candidates are motivated for change and growth, strive to make the world a better place and must not be afraid of a little hard work. All members of this new Girl Advisory Board must commit to being a role model for younger Girl Scouts and attend mandatory meetings and events.
