Age Levels: Junior, Cadette, Senior and Ambassador Girl Scouts

Saddle up and get ready to ride! Stablehands will walk you through earning many of the requirements toward earning either the “Horse Lover” Badge or “Horse Sense” Interest Project Award. Spend some time in the barn getting acquainted with your four-legged friends and then try your hands at the reins. Girls will learn about horse breeds, Western versus English saddles, stable upkeep, and how to feed and care for a horse. Girls will either take a ride in the arena or take a trail ride. If you love horses, this is the event for you!
