This Giving Tuesday, Give the Gift of Girl Scouting
When Juliette Gordon Low started Girl Scouts in 1912, she sold her set of pearls just so more girls could participate in Girl Scouting. She led by example in giving back, and on this #GivingTuesday, we're asking you to do the same.
Remember, girls are worth every cent. Give the gift of Girl Scouting this #GivingTuesday, and support our mission of building girls of courage, confidence and character.
When you give a gift to Girl Scouts of Black Diamond, you help fulfill the dream of making Girl Scouts available to every girl who wants to participate. Your money will be used to support local girls, troops and volunteers. Imagine the smile of a girl experiencing camp for the first time, thanks to one of the camp scholarships our council – and supporters like you – provides! Or the pride when she puts on her Girl Scout uniform for the first time as a new Girl Scout and makes friends in a safe and supported environment.

Looking for more ways to give back? Try the following:
- Give the gift of time. We have volunteer opportunities to fit any schedule, whether it’s one hour at an event, six weeks leading an after-school club, or a year inspiring an entire troop of girls. Girl Scout volunteers don’t need to be parents, have any history with the organization or even be female. Girl Scout volunteers come from all walks of life; they are men, women, young professionals, retirees, college students and more. Volunteer today.
- Shop on Amazon using the AmazonSmile program. Do you shop on Amazon? Simply use the AmazonSmile program, at no cost to you, and AmazonSmile makes a donation to Girl Scouts. How easy is that?!
