Wild and Wonderful Girl Scouts
Girl Scouts are forever green as we have a long history of being environmental stewards. This program explores the Seven Leave No Trace Principles with the National Park Service. Girl Scouts and their families will take an active role in the Seven Leave No trace Principles as they travel to different stations. Join the Girl Scouts and their families at Grandview, at New River Gorge National River for a day of fun, beauty, and nature. Girl Scouts will earn 5 hours towards becoming a Girl Scout Ranger and the September Mountain Momma Patch.
The cost of the program will cover supplies and patches provided during the event. The National Park Service is not receiving any funds from the Girl Scouts of Black Diamond Council.
Please bring a bagged lunch, snacks, and water as no food will be provided.
Please dress comfortably for the event. Please take into the weather into account as the event will take place outside. Close-toed shoes must be worn at all times during the event.
Girl Scouts will meet at the Visitor Center on the day of the event.
