Come join the Girl Scouts of Black Diamond Council and celebrate another great year of Girl Scouting! The Annual Meeting and Volunteer Recognition Luncheon are just around the corner and we would like to invite you to join us as we celebrate in style at the Grand Pointe Conference and Reception Center in Vienna, WV, April 13th and 14th.
The weekend will begin on Friday, April 13th with a reception featuring light refreshments, shopping and socializing! There will be items for bid in a silent auction and we will be amping up the fun with a live purse auction. The purse auction will feature bags (purses, totes, backpacks) filled with mystery goodies. The Council Shop will be set up on Friday and Saturday.
The fun continues Saturday morning as we celebrate the successes of 2017 and help set the future course for Girl Scouting. Be prepared to share ideas and feedback and take back exciting news to other members of your service unit! During a special luncheon we look forward to recognizing the outstanding achievements of selected Girl Scout volunteers!
Accommodations are available at Wingate by Wyndham for the special event price of $96.00 per night, for a room with two guests. To reserve your accommodations please contact Wingate by Wyndham at 304-295-5501 and request the Girl Scouts of Black Diamond Room Block. The cut-off date to receive this discounted room rate is March 13th.
There is a registration fee of $25 (if paid before March 23rd and $35 after March 23rd) that will include a plated lunch on Saturday. The reception on Friday evening is available to at no additional fee. Breakfast is included with your room fee.
Registrations must be in no later than April 4th. No late registrations will be accepted.

Can my Girl Scout attend annual meeting with me? This event is geared towards older girls and adults who can provide valuable feedback about Girl Scouting to our staff. Younger girls are welcome to attend for the event fee listed, however there will not be additional activities geared directly towards their grade levels.
I have special dietary needs – what do I need to do to make sure my meal accommodates those needs? Please contact Courtney Borek, Executive Assistant, at 304-553-7027 with your dietary needs no later than April 4th so that we can make the appropriate accommodations with the venue.
Can I register after the event or just walk in? Registrations are due no later than April 4th for this event. Unfortunately, we have to provide meal and seating accommodations to the conference center in advance. Walk-in registrations are not guaranteed to receive meals, and therefore are discouraged.
