Media G.I.R.L.z

Has your daughter ever wanted to appear on television, speak on the radio or have her story featured in a publication or photo shoot? We need Girl Scouts to join the Girl Scouts of Black Diamond Council Media G.I.R.L.z. These Girl Scouts are Go-getters, Innovators, Risk-Takers and Leaders, and are the official girl faces and voices of GSBDC.

These Junior, Cadette and Senior Girl Scouts ooze courage, confidence and character and are the official girl faces and voices of GSBDC. 

Media Girlz is a year-long program that gives girls the chance to be included in various media opportunities, be invited to participate in special events and attend business functions with GSBDC staff members and to learn about public speaking, create talking points and practice business etiquette. And of course they’ll have plenty of time to shine in front of the camera and have some fun too.

Media G.I.R.L.z Training

We will host a Media G.I.R.L.z Training on Saturday, December 16th in the conference room at the Girl Scout & Volunteer Resource Center from 10 am to 2 pm. 20 spots are available. Spots will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. Girls should attend training to be Media G.I.R.L.z.

Cookie Training: Noon-1:00 pm

Certificate Presentation: 1:30-2:00 pm
