GIRL Spotlight - Mission Moment

My daughter had a slight speech delay and saw a speech therapist in pre-k and kindergarten. Because she was naturally a bit shy and frustrated that others didn't easily understand her, she avoided speaking in public. Because of Girl Scouts, she has grown in confidence and participated in the school spelling and geography news, represented her school in the county reading bee, has had speaking parts in plays and sang duets in church, and represented the girls in meeting with the council board at Annual Meeting.
