The Appalachian Field Center is an innovative pilot project that was started in 2000. Girl Scouts of Black Diamond Council, Girl Scouts-Heart of Ohio Council, and Girl Scouts-Seal of Ohio Council formed an Alliance to better serve their membership in the Athens, Ohio area. This office houses staff from all three councils, as well as a full service Girl Scout shop.

From Route 50 in Athens, take the State Street Exit.  The Girl Scout office is located on the left about 1 mile from the exit, just past the Alltel building.
