Camping
A Special Activity for All Girls

Camping is a cornerstone of Girl Scouting, whether it be as a troop overnight or troop camp experience, or summer resident camp or summer day camp experience. At camp, girls develop independence, self-confidence and leadership skills while gaining an appreciation for nature and making lifelong memories.

Daisy and Brownie Girl Scouts can start their troop camping experience through backyard camping adventures, day camp or parent/daughter weekends. Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors can broaden their troop camping experiences through extended overnight and more rustic camping adventures. Older Girl Scouts can also take on leadership roles at camp.

Girl Scouts of Black Diamond is proud to offer area Girl Scouts increased camping opportunities throughout the council jurisdiction. There are summer camp day and overnight programs for every girl. There are also places for troops and service units to camp at other times of the year, even during the winter!
