Adult Learning Requirements

Girl Scouts of Black Diamond Council is committed to providing you with quality learning opportunities.  All new and returning leaders and assistant leaders MUST complete appropriate training within six months of appointment.  The information you receive in a training course or workshop helps you plan meetings and activities that follow Girl Scout Program requirements.

Where do I Start?

Step 1: GSUSA Orientation

GSUSA Orientation can be completed online (password: discover) or by CD with a staff member or volunteer facilitator.

Step 2:  GSBDC Orientation

This is a classroom style learning opportunity that lasts prepares you to lead a troop/group in the GSBDC organization.

Step 3:  Leadership Essentials

Leadership Essentials is a classroom style learning opportunity that introduces troop leaders to The Girl Scout Leadership Experience.
